The Longest Long Day ride
WEDNESDAY 22ND DECEMBER
Making Trax have teamed up with Queenstown local Simon Noble for a monumental physical feat and fundraising event. Simon will be riding up the Skyline Gondola to reach the height of Mount Everest – that’s 8,848 vertical metres climbed on a bike in one day!
The ride, happening on 22nd December 2021, is expected to take 22 climbs plus the downhill each summit, and around 20 hours+ of effort on Simon’s behalf.
The reason for the attempt is to raise money for Making Trax charitable trust who will use the donation to manufacture:
Gravity Quads
Paragliding Buggies
E-assist Hand Cycles
These will live in Queenstown and be available for those who need them and open up the opportunities for more abilities to enjoy the adventure playground that is Queenstown.
More about the ride and Simons story.
How to donate:
