$50,000 Fundraiser for ST John

We’re have set ourselves the monumental task of raising $50,000 for St John. Well, us and Jason Medina, who plans to go for a world record attempt and jump off the Shotover Canyon Swing 100 times in a day!

Jason is doing this to raise awareness for mental health and as a thank you to the amazing crew at St John. “If it were not for heroic efforts of the Queenstown Police and St John officers I would not be here today. I’m humbly grateful to be able to participate in this event to be able to give back and inspire that a glimmer of hope can be found in the darkest of places”.

To reach the goal we need you, our community, to chip in. We have Swings available on the day for $300 a pop. This is a lot to ask, but New Zealand ask a lot of St John everyday and we want to help give back.

If you are generous enough to pay $300 yourself, amazing and thank you. Otherwise rally some mates together and chip in a few bucks each to treat a friend who deserves to let their hair down and try something a little out of the ordinary.

If you have any fundraising ideas to help us get there, contact Salmon at salmon@canyonswing.co.nz – we’re open to all ideas.

Cheers
