We’re very proud to announce that from the murky depths of the Gimp Ted Laboratory, 2 new gimp teds have emerged to join the world of Swing!

Kill Bill’s Beatrix Kiddo, complete with little swishy Samurai swords, has been spotted eagerly watching people jumping from the platform, biding her time until she spies someone suitable to swing with for her first!

The Riddler comes complete with his own book of riddles, designed to test even the sharpest of wits on the platform, whilst you await your go!  Take him on and see how you fare…

We’re all super excited that enormous Aussie Steve was able to fit into a harness and swing with us!  And he enjoyed it so much he went a second time too.  Pictured here with Crispy (who is, admittedly, not the tallest fella in town), Steve demonstrates perfectly that it’s not maximum height or weight that governs whether you can swing or not, it’s how the harness fits you!  Good on ya mate!

Imagine our amazement to see our jumpmaster Steve arrive out at site last week with a swing customer who could easily pass for his long-lost brother!  Watching from the editing room screen, I certainly took a double take before I was sure!

Take 1 Scott, 1 South African, add superhero outfits, harnesses, freefall and adrenalin. That’s the recipe for a couple of perfectly mad swingers!

Just for fun, we’ve all gone finger-mo mad today – with some swing-tastic unique prizes for the most original finger-mo inspired chuckles, facial expressions and dance moves!

Our mini mo-ers were keen for a swing, but since they are still a few years off our minimum swinger age, they happily entertained themselves with our gimped dolls!

Remember them?  Of course you do, the amazing American couple who not only cancelled other plans in Queenstown to swing, not only changed flights to swing, but also came back from Australia instead of flying home to LA – again, for more swinging!  They racked up 17 jumps last year…  Well… THEY’RE BAAACK!

Having heard that we’re now offering the infamous ‘Gimp Boy Goes to Hollywood’ jumpstyle as a tandem, they just had to come back for more.  So they ventured back all the way from the US of A for more swinging and even got thrown off by their all-time favourite jumpmaster ‘The Crispy Duck’ (Trademarked, tagged and owned by the Shotover Canyon Swing, really!).  Gimp Boy has always been pretty intense, but with the tandem gimp you and your buddy can dangle together upside down 109m above the Shotover Canyon and plunge eyeballs-first into the canyon at the pull of the pin!

Since Marc and Christina’s last visit we’ve added ‘paw cams’ – a camera attached to your ropes, so you’re filmed throughout the whole swing, up close and personal.  So this time, Marc and Christina will take their entire experience back home with them this time.  Woop woop – watch this space for their next swing mission…
